Soul Intention is a 8-piece sixties soul band based in Somersham, Cambridgeshire, UK. Our line-up consists of two female singers, a rhythm section of drums, bass, guitar and keyboards and a saxophone horn section that also provides backing vocals.

We play songs from the 1960s that were recorded on the Stax and Motown labels together with other songs from the same era that have a similar "soulful intention" such as Son Of A Preacher Man (Dusty Springfield) and River Deep, Mountain High (Ike & Tina Turner).
